We've decided to stock a range of boating accessories (chandlery) at the wharf. On my last trip to Melbourne, i spent some time chatting to management at Platinum Parts, most who frequent the store will know this name in regards to some of the fishing
tackle we stock. Well, Platinum is best known for its range
of Marine accessories, from the humble "bung" through to
underwater camera systems, and they have put together
a rack of products that we all agree should benefit the boating
community in Tathra. We are hoping that this display will be up and installed prior to the end of November, and the plan is to extend this range into 2009. New Menu!!!!!! Ok we've decided to change the menu, we've kept a lot of the favorites, but we've added a large selection of local Oysters done many different ways (personally i like the Mirin with Japanese Sliced Ginger), as well as the return of the Lavash's, and something we've had a few requests for over the years,  our spin on the ploughman's lunch. We've had to set this dish up for two people, it contains all the usual ploughman's ingredients, but with an added touch of prawns , Tasmanian smoked salmon, and the odd additional tempter depending on what Jenni's  feeling like that day. Also we've bought back the club sandwich (a favorite for that light lunch) in both Turkey and Chicken. The Platinum rack is up and trading, and has proved rather popular with the locals. This is an area that we will be expanding on in the next 12 months,

For the month of April I'm going to apply a 10% discount to all Platinum Marine Products (anchors, Lifejackets,torches..etc etc), as well as the popular Tackle sale box (lot's of squid jigs  this year.. from only $1.50 each), Also Jenni will be offering 10% off all giftware including the new range of Marine stuffed toys (gotta love the Cuttlefish and Octopus), There will also be some new Oyster dishes on offer from local Wapango Oysters, as well as the super popular wharf Ploughman's .. See you over Easter

November 2009

Starting from December 2009 , we are introducing Peters Scoops ice cream. We've had a lot of requests over the years for ice cream in a cone, so we've gone ahead and done it. We'll be offering flavors from the regular and connoisseur collection, with these flavors changing regularly. Also we will be bringing back our fresh local Oyster menu again this year as well as some new snacks to tempt the tastebuds, for example... Jalapeno bites, Coconut Prawns and Onion rings. We look forward to seeing everyone at the wharf over the coming summer months.
